We’re musicians and designers. Artists and engineers. Some of us have played with members of The Donnas, Smash Mouth, the Chris Cornell Band, and more. Others have taught product design at Stanford, engineered laser systems, designed robots, and held leadership roles at IDEO, one of the world’s foremost product development firms. Then we realized we could bring it all together by designing and engineering innovative accessories that enable serious performers to fine-tune their gear.
Our process starts with careful observation of how people behave. What problems do they run into with their gear? What could be easier? What could be cleaner? Cooler? Better?
Next, we come up with ideas and prototype them. This enables us to try many possible solutions out quickly without investing too much time in any one direction. The ideas that work for people, we develop further. The ones that fall flat, we leave behind. Then we iterate, fine-tune, dial in, and otherwise perfect until we arrive at a clean, elegant, simple and compelling solution that musicians can’t do without.
As any designer will tell you, it’s a lot more work to make something simple and useful than it is to make something complicated. We hope you enjoy the simple fruits of our labors. We’ve designed them to free you up to do what you do best: perform!
